Covid 19 pandemic spreading across Europe

 

The new dangerous Covid 19 virous that appeared in China in the beginning of the year, in only three months had reached Europe and in short time was spread throughout European countries. The unexpected situation dramatically affected people’s lives and eventually schools’ operation.

For safety reasons schools in most countries were closed. Despite difficulties, schools soon had to adjust to the current circumstances and overcome the problems. For that reason, new educational methods concerning remote learning were introduced. Using internet technology and applications or educational programme broadcasts on TV, the school community managed to keep connection and discovered new ways for work and school learning. In addition, the new routine, even though using a screen, supported and helped psychologically and emotionally children to deal with the difficult period of the quarantine.
